Mera Takeru is a pioneer of the crypto art in Japan. He is a self-taught artist that started his career in 2019. Since then, Mera Takeru has been working on various exhibitions with KnowOrigin, SuperRare or Makerspace.
Mera Takeru artworks reflect the special relationship with nature and his Japanese culture. He is inspired by his heritage and Shintoism culture from his early work and has been particularly influenced by this to sublimate everyday scenes into art. Using crypto art as a medium, he beautifully revisits the symbols of Japan such as the Japanese prints.
